Warranty Direct offers a wide variety of coverages for residents of Canada for vehicles as many as 7 model years old and with as many as
120,000 kilometres. For older or higher mileage vehicles, please visit carwarranty.com/canada.
The following vehicles are not eligible for Warranty Direct coverage:
- Vehicles used for commercial purposes; this includes, but is not limited to, taxis, livery, police, fire, post office, farm, construction and delivery vehicles.
- Vehicles with salvage, rebuilt, flood or similar titles.
- Manufacturer buyback and/or Lemon Law vehicles.
- Vehicles that have been modified in a fashion not recommended by the manufacturer (e.g. removal of emissions control equipment, oversized or undersized tires, suspension kits).
- Grey market vehicles which are defined as those that were not manufactured to be sold in Canada and have no factory warranty. Vehicles purchased in U.S. often fall into this category.
- Vehicles with dual rear wheels.
- Certain high performance and/or limited production vehicles including, but not limited to:
- Acura NSX
- Cadillacs with HT 4100 engines
- Corvette ZR models

- Mustang Cobra/ Limited Production Mustangs
- Plymouth Prowler
- Manufacturers not listed on our Vehicle Classification chart.
Warranty Direct reserves the right to disqualify coverage for vehicles not meeting current underwriting criteria. The determination of coverage will be at the sole discretion of Warranty Direct.
